Bodhala launches into Q2 with poached sales talent

Bodhala, the groundbreaking legal technology platform created by lawyers to transform the half-a-trillion dollar global legal industry, continues its rapid trajectory of growth with new sales talent.

Today the company announced the hire of legal tech industry pioneer Mark Hentschell. He’s the first of three deeply experienced industry professionals to join the sales team, accelerating the pace of growth in the market.

Hentschell officially began working as Vice President of Sales at the beginning of May.

“Our years of client wins and learnings have led us here, and we’re thrilled Mark is on board to ensure our trajectory continues rocketing upward,” said Bodhala CEO Raj Goyle. “You could say we’re on a hiring spree, and Mark is a huge get for us.”

Hentschell comes with a deep understanding of the challenges enterprises face in dealing with large law firms. In his decade-long role as Global Sales Manager for Thomson Reuters Legal Tracker (formerly Serengeti Tracker), he has developed a laser-focus on the intersection of corporate law department management and technology.

“Activating Mark represents the next stage of growth and success not just for our business, but primarily for our current and future clients,” Goyle said. “We value the experience their journeys have given our team, and we’re ready for them to drive us forward, elevating our client experience.”

Goyle pointed to Hentschell’s book of more than 1,300 Legal Tracker clients as proof of his ability to manage the steep growth Bodhala foresees.

Prior to joining Serengeti, he was a practicing attorney with K&L Gates focused on large e-discovery projects. Hentschell earned his J.D. from Cornell Law School.
