Bodhala building on solid base with workhorse sales team

Bodhala, the leading tech platform enabling corporate legal teams to analyze and optimize their spend, announced today they acquired proven revenue leader Mike Marinelli as vice president of sales.
He’s the second of three deeply experienced industry professionals to join the sales team in the last month, highlighting Bodhala’s Q2 focus on growth. He began working at the downtown Manhattan startup at the beginning of May.
“As a growing company, this ramping up is a tremendous feeling,” said Bodhala co-CEO Raj Goyle. “Mike has a depth of knowledge in our highly specialized industry that’s unparalleled. We’re lucky to be able to bring him on and grow with him.”
Marinelli is fresh off seven years as a Director of Business Development at TransPerfect Legal Solutions (TLS) one of the world’s largest eDiscovery providers. During his tenure at TLS, he focused his time helping corporate law departments drive down costs and streamline their processes.
“The billable hour is on its deathbed, and that’s a knowledge our entire team perceives in their client interactions,” Goyle said. “Mike brings the understanding and intuition to take these sentiments and translate them to meaningful wins for our clients and our company.”
Prior to joining TLS, Marinelli was an internal consultant for a large transportation company. He earned a BS in Economics from the Wharton School at the University of Pennsylvania. He was also a four-year member of the UPenn football team.
